Tiny Two Cents is a blog created by yours truly with the hopes of sharing experiences, connecting with others, and having a space to reflect. I've had the tagline "Slowing down before pressing on," for as long as I've had the blog and it still aligns with my mission and vision to this day. I started the blog yearsss ago and the redesigned version you're seeing here is not yet live (hence the lovely stock gal and fake blogger name), but I hope to make it so in the near future. After using a generic Wordpress blog without any real branding, I decided it was time to bring TTC into this next chapter of my life with an identity that felt feminine, neutral, and sophisticated.
Created while a designer at MKJ Creative
For this mark, I had a number of mark concepts in mind, but as I began moving through their creation, I realized quickly they weren't going to align with my goals for the overall aesthetic. I opted instead for a monogram with just a touch of concept. Working with TTC, my go-to abbreviation, I stacked the two Ts and placed the C so that the stem of the T would cross through its center, creating the cents symbol. The resulting mark is sophisticated, subtle, and delicate.
